Liquid Dreams/Sueños Líquidos: July 2012

These photographs are part of a short series titled "Liquid Dreams". The images take as a starting point for they creation those days in my childhood, when going to the beach was always a trip of wonder.

In a way of remembering those days, in which I used to spend long hours creating figures and creatures out sand, drift wood and stones, or simply imagining stories of distant places by starting at the ships, these images became a personal exploration at the same level as it was on those days, where everything was possible by just imaging it.

By taking different elements into play besides my photography, as it is my love for visual arts in general, stage theater, and even my graphic arts background, I mix on each image a part of the childhood innocence and playfulness I had during those weekend trips to the beach, and a part of myself as a grown adult with all the those feelings and experiences that come with adult life.
